What are New Employee Health Checks?

New employee health screening ensures that new employees are fit to undertake the post to which they have been appointed and makes recommendations regarding any adjustments that might be necessary to enable them to carry out their role safely.

If this service is relevant to you, you may be asked to complete a confidential New Employee Health Questionnaire after you have been offered your new job.  This will then be sent directly to our Occupational Health Nurse for review and he/she may contact you to discuss any health issues.  This will help in identifying any workplace health needs.  This will also ensure  your health condition will not be made worse by work or have a detrimental impact on the health, safety and welfare of yourself or the business.

The service may include:

  • New employee Health Questionnaires
  • New employee Health Telephone Interviews
  • New employee Medicals
